Data controller

The data controller is the operator of the Domaine du Soleil Couchant, reachable at the address given in the legal notice. Legal notice.

Data collected

The site only collects data when you send a booking request:

• First name, last name, email address, phone number and country
• Requested house, dates of stay and optional message
• Language of the site used

No account is created and no data is collected while browsing the site.

Purpose

This data is used solely to answer your request and prepare a possible stay. It is neither sold nor used for advertising.

Legal basis

Processing is based on pre-contractual steps taken at your request (article 6.1.b of the GDPR).

Retention

Requests are kept while they are being handled, then for at most three years after the last exchange, unless a stay took place, in which case accounting obligations apply.

Recipients and processors

Requests are sent by email to the owners. To operate, the site relies on:

• Cloudflare (hosting, network and Turnstile anti-bot protection)
• Cloudflare Email Service (delivery of the request email)
• Google Maps, only if you choose to show the map on the contact page

Cookies

The site sets no tracking or analytics cookies. Turnstile, which protects the form from bots, may set a strictly necessary technical cookie. The Google map is only loaded at your request.

Your rights

You may request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to the address below. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
